An education is priceless, and not having to pay for a private education is one of the many reasons people find Castro Valley attractive. We have a very good public school system that is not only recognized in the Bay Area and the state, but the nation as well. U.S. News & World Report recently did a review and awarded Castro Valley High School a Silver medal and recognized them as one of the top 1000 high schools in the nation! Here’s the link if you’d like to take a look at the stats and compare CV High to other schools throughout California. http://www.usnews.com/education/best-high-schools/california
We are fortunate to live in a great community that values education on all levels from elementary to high school. In fact, the foundation of Castro Valley’s education system looks very promising and I’ve attached a link to one of my more favorite websites for information on all schools including elementary and middle school: http://www.greatschools.org/
Even if you don’t have children, living in an area with an excellent public school system adds value to your property and your community.
