It seems as if every wildflower in creation is blooming this week! The East Bay Regional Parks District has graciously provided free, downloadable wildflower photo guides to help identify what you're seeing. Last week on a Bay Area Ridge Trail hike (also known as the Chabot-Garin Trail starting at Cull Canyon Park), we spotted White Fairy Lanterns, Crimson Columbine, Rose Clover, Purpletip Cut-Leaf Geranium, Spring Vetch & mounds of Fragrant White Fritillary.
